The inspiration behind this mix came from one of my dearest supporters requesting “I hate u” by Sza to be in the next mix and honestly that was the vibe I was on as well. I created a playlist that I would go to when I felt anxious, depressed, sad, lonely, disrespected and much more. I have always struggled with being able to express myself because I don’t want it to come off like I’m complaining. And when I don’t express myself it eats me up inside. I was able to direct the pain I felt into this mix. Thanks to these beautiful artists and the art they created it got me through tough situations that felt permanent at the time and realized these emotions are only temporary. You learn a lot about yourself in relationships. Spiritual growth was never meant to be easy and it takes hard situations to see where you are mentally and spiritually. I put a lot of time and energy into creating this vibe and the intention of this playlist is to help souls going through hard times to know that ur not alone and the tough times don’t last forever. As much as u love someone, u have to love yourself and put ur mental health first. No one is perfect. We are all just tryna do our best and be happy. You can’t keep waiting for someone to make u happy or treat u the way u deserve to be treated. You have to do that for yourself. I realize relationships are meant to test one to the max. One thing I know for sure is that we have to be patient with each other and not be quick to make someone feel less than for not seeing things the way u do because the majority of the time it’s really just a misunderstanding.
I pray this mix heals every soul that comes across it. Thank you for the endless support and for really being patient with me as well! I only wanna give y’all the best content possible.
