Inspired by Germanic folklore, a tragedy at a mysterious lake continues to haunt a family years after the incident. As Jack Coyle struggles to keep his shattered family together, a strange and powerful entity reveals itself again, opening the wounds for another tragedy to occur. As Jack deals with the consequences, he also must protect his young niece from this frightening creature which threatens to destroy everyone.

You may remember Michael Paré as a true icon of the '80s, breaking through with a supporting role in The Greatest American Hero, before taking the title role in the cult rock 'n' roll film Eddie & The Cruisers, subsequently co-starring in Streets of Fire and the TV action series Houston Knights.
