After our equipment was stolen during our West Coast run in Oakland, a few artists from NYC reached out and showed real love by donating and supporting the movement. To give that love right back, we brought everybody together for a special cypher session.
No politics, no industry games! Just artists coming together for the culture and showing support when it mattered. The energy in this one was genuine from start to finish. Everybody stepped up with something to prove, and the bars definitely reflected that hunger.

The Lyric League Series pulled up to the South Bronx and the block turned all the way up. Real bars, real energy, and a lineup full of artists that came ready to leave a mark.
This episode features lyrical heavyweight El Gant, who stepped in talking heavy with that raw underground New York style hip hop heads already know him for. We also had Spanish lyricist Chacka bringing a different flavor and showing out for the culture.
On the female side, Genique and T-Sexie came through and held their own with no problem, bringing straight pressure to the cypher and proving they came to compete. Add in a lineup of hungry MCs and this turned into one of those sessions where everybody was trying to steal the show.

The Lyric League Series pulled up to North Jersey and the city brought the bars out.
For this episode, Jersey heavyweight Ren Thomas helped put together a lineup of hungry MCs ready to prove a point. The cypher also features hip hop veteran Miilkbone, who stepped in and reminded everybody why his name still carries weight in the culture. R. Kelly's Greatest Hits and Controversies - A King's Fall
Robert Sylvester Kelly, professionally known as R. Kelly, is a former American singer, songwriter, and record producer widely recognized in R&B, hip hop, and pop music. Often called “the King of R&B” and “the Pied Piper of R&B,” his career ended in 2019 amid legal issues involving federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges related to minors.
Born in Chicago, Kelly began his music career performing in subways and busking in different places. He released 18 studio albums and became known for hit songs such as “I Believe I Can Fly,” “Bump N’ Grind,” and “Ignition (Remix).” He also collaborated with artists including Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, and Whitney Houston.
Despite major commercial success and several awards, Kelly faced allegations of sexual abuse dating back to the 1990s. His legal troubles escalated over time, leading to his arrest and convictions for offenses related to child sexual abuse. He is currently serving a 31-year prison sentence.
