Miss Prissy, the slow-witted hen, sets out to land a husband - Foghorn Leghorn, and Barnyard Dog is willing to help her by dressing as a rooster to "rival" Foghorn Leghorn's non-existent affections and make him jealous so that he'll marry Prissy without thinking.

Lovelorn Leghorn (1951):
The other hens make fun of Miss Prissy, who still has not found a husband. Prissy sets out, rolling pin in hand, to find one, and she comes upon confirmed bachelor Foghorn Leghorn in the midst of his feud with the barnyard dog.

Sock a Doodle Do (1952):
A prize-fighting banty rooster comes to town and Foghorn realizes he can point it's fighting spirit towards Barnyard Dog.

The EGGcited Rooster (1952):
Foghorn Leghorn’s sharp-tongued, domineering wife orders him to sit on their egg while she goes out to play bridge, but Foghorn becomes careless, allowing little Henery the Chicken Hawk to take the egg away.

A Fractured Leghorn (1950):
Foghorn Leghorn and a cat fight over a worm. The cat wants the worm as bait for a fish, while Foghorn just wants the worm for a quick snack.

A Broken Leghorn (1959):
On Old MacDonald's farm, an egg hatches in slow-witted hen Miss Prissy's nest, and out of the shell comes a baby rooster. Fearing he will be replaced by the kid rooster and sent to be slaughtered, Foghorn Leghorn plots to do away with the little tyke.

Raw! Raw! Rooster! (1956):
Foghorn's annoying college buddy, Rhode Island Red, comes for a visit and then won't leave. What's worse, he muscles in on Foggy's harem and reverses most of Foggy's traps and tricks.

Crockett-Doodle-Doo (1960):
Foghorn Leghorn decides to take an egghead genius chick out to the woods to distract him from his long-haired atomic science books and teach him about such practical things as scouting and woodcraft, but finds that the kid is more knowledgeable than he in these matters.

Banty Raids (1963):
A horny hipster rooster, attracted to the hens in Foghorn Leghorn's barnyard, disguises himself as a baby foundling on Foghorn's doorstep. Foghorn adopts the girl-crazy rooster as his son, giving him access to all the chickens on the farm!

Feather Bluster (1958):
Geriatrics Foghorn Leghorn and the barnyard dog recount their years of violent, mutual heckling, unaware that outside the window of their house, their impressionable grandsons have overheard the stories of their antics and intend to follow suit.

Fox-Terror (1957):
Foghorn's going fishing, but a fox has other plans for him. Posing as a racetrack tout, he suggests Foggy get a hunting dog and go hunting. Once the dog is gone, the fox comes after the chickens.

Mad as a Mars Hare (1963): A rocket launching from Earth with Bugs inside crashes into Marvin Martian's lab. They both try to send the other away using their weapons, but Marvin turns Bugs into a neanderthal rabbit instead.

Rabbit Hood (1949): While stealing a carrot in Sherwood Forest on the king's property, Bugs gets caught by the sheriff. Bugs tricks the sheriff into letting him go, but not before he plays pranks on the hapless lawman.

The Rabbit of Seville (1950): Elmer's hunting for Bugs lands them both on stage at the Hollywood Bowl. They fight it out until they end up getting married in the final act.

Long-Haired Hare (1951): Bugs is playing instruments and distracting Giovanni Jones from practicing for his concert. Giovanni breaks all the instruments Bugs has been playing so Bugs declares war. Bugs shows up at the concert pretending to be the conductor and makes Giovanni hold a note so long his face turns purple. At this, Bugs believes he has evened the score.

Water, Water Every Hare (1952): A flood floats a sleeping Bugs and his mattress off his bed and out of his rabbithole, downriver to the castle of an evil scientist. In need of a brain for his mechanical monster, the scientist saves the sleeping Bugs from a waterfall -- for, perhaps, a worse fate. When he wakes up, Bugs is terrified when he discovers where he is, and he is anxious to find a way home.

Hare-Way to the Stars (1958): Suffering from a rabbit-hangover Bugs accidentally climbs onto a rocket ship parked directly over his hole. He's taken to Marvin the Martian's home where he steals the explosives Marvin was planning to blow the Earth up with. Marvin sends some of his instant bird-looking soldiers after him.

The Unmentionables (1963): A spoof on the television series "The Untouchables." Bugs Bunny is an agent who has tracked criminals to their hideout.

Hare-Breadth Hurry (1963): The Coyote chases a speeding cloud that turns out to be Bugs Bunny! He explains that he's standing in for the Road Runner and the Wile E. Coyote tries fishing with carrots and other methods to catch the rabbit.

Wile E. Coyote unsuccessfully chases the Road Runner using such contrivances as a rifle, a steel plate, a dynamite stick on an extending metal pulley, a painting of a collapsed bridge (which the Coyote falls into while Road Runner passes right through), and a jet motor.

Ready, Set, Zoom! (1955)
Among the strategies that fail in Wile E. Coyote's attempts to catch the Roadrunner: glue on the road, a giant rubber band, an outboard motor in a wash tub, and dressing in drag as a female Roadrunner.

Scrambled Aches (1957)
Wile E. Coyote uses, among other things, a dehydrated boulder to try to catch the Road Runner. He applies a drop of water to enlarge it from pebble-size to usual boulder dimensions, but it enlarges as Wile E. is lifting it over his head, coming down on top of him.

Stop! Look! And Hasten! (1954)
The Coyote employs a series of devices to try to capture the Road Runner.

Guided Muscle (1955)
While cooking a tin can, the Coyote spots a better meal rushing by- the Road Runner. But making himself into a giant arrow doesn't catch the bird, and the book, "How to Tar and Feather a Road Runner", isn't much help either.

There They Go-Go-Go! (1956)
Wile E. Coyote, tired of eating mud, chases after the Road Runner instead.

Out and Out Rout (1966):
Wile E. Coyote chases the Road Runner using a skateboard, a hunting falcon, two doves tied to his feet, a hot rod, a wind sail, and glue stuck on the road.

Wild About Hurry (1959):
Wile E. Coyote tries to catch the Road Runner by enclosing himself inside an "Indestructo Steel Ball", over which he has no directional control!

Hot-Rod and Reel! (1959):
Wile E. Coyote's failed efforts to catch the Road Runner involve the use of roller skates, a gun in a camera, a trampoline, a dynamite stick on a crossbow, a bogus railroad crossing, and a jet-powered unicycle.

Clippety Clobbered (1966)
Wile E. Coyote uses a chemistry set to try and catch the Road Runner. He mixes chemicals to yield invisible paint, a bouncy outer skin, and a jet-powered spray can, none of which are successful.

Hopalong Casualty (1960):
Wile E. Coyote tries to catch the Road Runner using a dynamite stick on a fishing pole, a Christmas present wrapping machine, and ACME Earthquake pills

Road Runner a Go-Go (1965):
Wile E. Coyote uses slow motion photography to record his failures at catching the Road Runner in hopes of detecting where exactly he went wrong and avoiding the same pratfalls in the future.

Hook, Line and Stinker (1958):
Wile E. Coyote hopes to catch the Road Runner using a mallet, a cooking pan, a TNT stick, a balloon, and a piano dropped from a precipice. The last of these results in Wile E. falling to the road below along with the piano and ending up with 88 teeth.

Hillbilly Hare (1950): Bugs makes a wrong turn and ends up in the Ozarks where he meets the end-barrels of two hillbillies. He dresses up and fools them into thinking he's a female hillbilly at a square dance. When he takes over the directions of the square dancing he directs the two into a bunch of violent routines.

Hare Tonic (1945): Elmer Fudd takes Bugs home for his "wabbit stew". Bugs replicates a radio announcement saying that all rabbits purchased in the past few days have rabbititus. In a frenzied state Fudd tries to rid himself of the rabbit, but Bugs just won't go away.

Racketeer Rabbit (1946): Bugs makes himself a home inside an abandoned house where two gangsters, Rocky and Hugo, are hiding out. After Bugs angers the gangsters he must outsmart them to save himself.

Hot Cross Bunny (1948): Bugs Bunny is a science research test subject for the switching of his brain with a chicken. He finds himself in front of an audience in a lab auditorium and decides to entertain them with impersonations, magic tricks, dancing and skat-singing. When he finally realizes what he's there for, he runs and a chase scene ensues.

Hurdy-Gurdy Hare (1950): Bugs, the entrepreneurial bunny, reads a classified ad for a hurdy gurdy and monkey and decides to go into the music business.

Operation: Rabbit (1952): Wile E. Coyote is determined to catch Bugs but no matter what he tries Bugs turns it back on him. All his pranks end up hurting himself and he never catches Bugs.

Beanstalk Bunny (1955) careful: In this classic Jack and the Beanstalk tale, Daffy takes on the role of Jack and is accompanied by wise-cracking Bugs. Up the beanstalk and into the clouds they find Elmer Fudd as the Giant.

Lumber Jack-Rabbit (1953): Bugs stumbles into Paul Buyan country and tries to take some giant carrots but is chased by a giant dog. Bugs tickles the dogs nose until he sneezes, this sends Bugs right into Paul's house. Finally Bugs gets away from the dog and goes back to eating the carrots. The only cartoon produced in 3-D.

Person to Bunny (1960): This cartoon is a spoof of Edward R. Murrow's Person to Person with Bugs, Daffy, and Elmer. While Bugs is being interviewed he insults Elmer who then demands an apology. Daffy is doing everything he can to be on television but ends up with stage fright.

False Hare (1964): The big bad Wolf and his cousin setup a rabbit club as a front for a rabbit trap. Bugs plays along with their club just to cause more trouble for the Wolves.

A Mutt in a Rut (1959): A dog watches a cartoon that says when dogs get old their masters will shoot them. Elmer takes the dog hunting, but the dog believes he is going to be shot so he does everything he can to hurt Elmer first. Elmer thinks the dog is saving him from all these disasters so he wants to give him a medal. Once back at the house the dog tries to attack the TV when the announcer who made the previous statement comes on.

The Jet Cage (1962): Granny orders a new-fangled flying bird cage for Tweety, jet-powered and complete with crash helmet. Tweety tries it out in the backyard and heckles Sylvester. Sylvester tries hard to catch him but fails and ends up in bandages.

Rabbit Romeo (1957): Elmer's uncle, Judd, promises him $500 if he will watch his lovesick rabbit, Millicent. When Elmer gets Bugs to come over and keep Millie company, crazy things start happening.

The Solid Tin Coyote (1966): The coyote attempts several methods to catch the Roadrunner.

The Dixie Fryer (1960): Foghorn gets chased by two hillbilly chicken hawks, Pappy and Elvis. Foghorn eventually outsmarts the shotgun wielding pair.

Deduce, You Say! (1956): Daffy plays the role of an overly anxious clue-hunting Sherlock Holmes. His assistant, Porky, offers moments of superfluous praise for inspecting things such as his own glass. They end up catching the criminal, but Daffy becomes too occupied with arresting a woman with illegal dandelions.

Soup or Sonic (1980): The Coyote chases the Roadrunner all over the desert. They both run through a pipe that gets progressively smaller. At the end of the tunnel, the Roadrunner returns to normal size while the Coyote remains tiny.

The Lyric League Series touched down in Lexington, Kentucky, and this stop was about more than just bars....

We linked with Devine Carama, who brought together some of Lexington’s hungry MCs and took us to the historic Lyric Theatre in the city’s East End to put Kentucky lyricism on full display.

The Lyric opened in 1948 and became an important cultural hub for Lexington’s Black community during segregation. It was also a stop on the historic Chitlin’ Circuit, the network of venues that gave Black entertainers places to perform and Black audiences places to safely experience live entertainment during the Jim Crow era. The Lyric welcomed legendary performers including Ray Charles, B.B. King, Count Basie, James Brown, Tina Turner and more.

Nearly eight decades later, The Punchline Academy pulled up outside that same historic building to continue the tradition of Black music and expression through a new generation of MCs.

With Devine Carama setting the lineup and an original beat produced by Da Inphamus Amadeuz, Lexington’s spittaz stepped up one by one with straight bars, punchlines and raw lyricism.

From the Chitlin’ Circuit to the Lyric League Series, the location made this one special.
