In this episode of the Top Music Attorney Podcast, Entertainment Attorney, Miss Krystle dives into recent changes at Spotify that have raised serious concerns about the future of music on the platform. As new features roll out and business practices evolve, the question of artist control and fair compensation becomes more pressing than ever. With a major update on the horizon, MK unpacks what this could mean for independent musicians and why it’s making them reconsider their place on Spotify.

Beyond streaming royalties, there’s a bigger conversation about the shifting landscape of the music industry. From new tiers to unexpected policy changes, artists may need to rethink how they navigate these platforms. Is this just another business move, or something that could fundamentally alter the way music is shared and monetized?
